The Department of Management Studies successfully organized a Workshop on Database Analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics on February 16, 2026. The workshop was conducted in an online mode with the objective of equipping students and faculty with practical knowledge of data management and statistical analysis techniques widely used in academic research and industry.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members who were keen to enhance their analytical and research skills. During the workshop, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of database handling, data entry, coding of variables, and the process of importing and organizing datasets for statistical analysis using SPSS.

The workshop provided hands-on exposure to important statistical tools such as descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression techniques. Participants also learned how to interpret statistical outputs, generate graphs and charts, and use SPSS for research projects, dissertations, and business data analysis.

Students actively engaged in discussions and practical exercises, which helped them understand how statistical software can be used for evidence-based decision-making in fields such as management research, market analysis, and social science studies. The session emphasized the importance of data-driven insights and the role of statistical tools in conducting reliable and meaningful research.

By the end of the workshop, participants gained valuable practical knowledge of database management and statistical analysis, strengthening their research capabilities and analytical thinking skills.
