Students of Journalism and Multimedia visited Studio of FM Radio City

The students BSc Animation and Multimedia Technology along with BA Journalism and Mass Communication from Department of Media Studies, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan Campus visited the Studio of “Radio City” to mark the World Radio Day. World Radio Day is an observed annually on 13 February to celebrate radio as a medium. It was proclaimed on 3 November 2011 by UNESCO's 36th General Conference.

Ms. Seema Soni, Programming Director of Radio City, Jalandhar welcomed and guided the students about the career choices in field of Radio Industry. The Students also had an interactive session with RJ Reet who explained the students about the various types of Radio Shows and how they are planned and produced. Whereas a Technical session about Radio Production was taken by Mr. Vishal Nalin, Sound Engineer at Radio City. The Students also got to meet RJ Deep, RJ Rajan and RJ Shaveta of Radio City.

Mr. Birinder Singh, Head - Department of Media Studies and Ms. Anisha Kundra, Assistant Professor (Multimedia) accompanied the students to the Studio Visit. The Students gained knowledge about the working of Radio Station and production of various Radio Shows during this visit.
