A Health Talk on Women Cancer Awareness was organized by CT College of Education on Feb. 04, 2025 as part of its ongoing health education initiatives. The session aimed at educating students and faculty about the importance of early detection and prevention of cancers affecting women. The resource person for the same was Dr. Pooja Kiran, who highlighted common types of cancers such as breast, cervical, and ovarian cancer, their risk factors, and the significance of regular screenings and self-examinations. The talk included interactive discussions, informative presentations, and practical tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle to reduce cancer risk.
