Blood is the most essential thing for human life. It is an inhuman body fluid that delivers necessary substances such as nutrients and oxygen to the cells. Blood donation is a selfless act that helps save lives. It is one of the most positive ways to help someone in need. By donating blood, we are donating an irreplaceable gift that will save someone’s life. It shows that we care, and you’ll feel great knowing that we are helping to save lives. A webinar on Blood Donation: Fallacy to Facts was organized by CCA committee of CT College of Education for the students of B.Ed. & M.Ed. on September 28, 2022.  Resource person for the same was Ms. Divpreet Kaur, Principal, St. Soldier Divine Public School, Jalandhar. The session was concluded by a vote of thanks. Overall session was knowledgably and fruitful for students.  She elaborated the importance of blood donation and how blood donation takes place and explained how one should get motivated towards donating blood. She then addressed why people lack interest in donating blood and cleared all the myths that people think about. She also mentioned some blood donation issues and how people make it more controversial. She also explained clearly how voluntarily donating blood helps the society and also inspired many of our volunteers. After all the explanation the Question and answer session began and the students voluntarily asked questions to the expert and she clarified all the doubts, obligations that were present in the mind of the respective students.
