The Department of Hotel and Tourism Management successfully organized a Quiz Competition on Hotel and Tourism on 18th February 2026 at the Advance Training Restaurant (ATR). The event was aimed at enhancing students’ knowledge and understanding of the hospitality and tourism industry. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 10 teams competing in multiple rounds designed to test their knowledge of hotel operations, tourism concepts, and general awareness related to the industry. The quiz created an engaging, dynamic, and competitive learning environment, encouraging students to showcase their academic strengths and practical understanding. After a closely contested final round, Ms. Kesar and Ms. Akshita from BTTM IV emerged as the winners of the competition. They demonstrated excellent teamwork, confidence, and in-depth subject knowledge throughout the event. On this occasion, prizes were distributed by Vice Principal, Dr. Sumant Sharma, in the presence of faculty members Mr. Mandeep, Mr. Anuj, Mr. Rajkumar, and Miss Shilpi. The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Satyakam Pandit, Miss Shivani, and Miss Meenu. The programme was well-organized and received appreciation from both participants and faculty members. Such academic initiatives play a significant role in promoting academic excellence and fostering a deeper interest among students in the field of hotel and tourism management. The department reiterated its commitment to organizing more such academic and co-curricular activities in the future.
