The Department organized a visit to the Doordarshan Kendra, Jalandhar. The Students visited the state-of-the-art main Studio-A which is extensively used for live shows and the Talk/Discussion based Studio-B along with News Studio-C at DDK. After that students visited the Productional Control Panels of the Studio, where they learnt about the production of various shows. Students also visited the Post Production Suites (NLE), News NLE, Graphics, Live Panels, Server/Control Unit, Earth Station, Linear Editing Suites, OB Van, News Room and in the end the ENG Section where they were given hands on experience of the latest Cameras’ and equipment.
