The three 'Rs' stand for: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. They are a part of the waste hierarchy which is used to protect the environment and conserve resources through a priority approach. The aim is to get maximum practical benefits from products and to generate the minimum amount of waste. In order to make students aware of the uses of waste material, CT College of Education ( B.Ed. & M.Ed.) , Maqsudan, Jalandhar organized ‘ Best out of waste’ activity under Field Engagement Program on January 20, 2023 for B.Ed. Sem. III students. Students prepared very creative and innovative models and art items from different waste materials. They used reusable and recyclable materials like newspapers, shoe boxes, bangles, ice cream sticks, and much more. From these items, they created an amazing array of display items and useful everyday objects leaving everyone totally impressed. The values like preservation, recycling, conservation, reduction, reuse, etc are imbibed into the young heart and minds by demonstrating this noble act of caring for our environment.
