Career counseling is a systematic process that helps an individual understand one’s self, as well as the world of work, to choose the right career. It is the process of helping students and professionals to analyze their strengths, interests, abilities and skills. To aware the students the B.Ed. and M.Ed. students about various jobs opportunities, CT College of Education, Jalandhar in collaboration with HomTu Educational Services Provider organized Career Guidance Counseling Session on April 26, 2023 at college premises. Resource persons for the same was Dr. Shiv Raj Singh and Mr. Satwinder Singh, Director of HomTu Educational Service Provider. He covered the topics like the importance of joining an appropriate job and how career decisions play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and development of students. The interactions at the question and answer session made sure that there was no low point, which also gave everyone a clear perspective for long run. He explained that one should not wait for the opportunity to come on their way, instead must make their way to opportunities, and highlight the importance of being a perpetual learner and continuously working for betterment of themselves as well as the society. He also described the jobs availabilities at HomTu Educational Services Provider. Overall session was beneficial for students.
