International Women’s Day Celebration

 8th March is internationally celebrated as the “INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY”. It is an important occasion for all of us to pause for a moment to reflect on ourselves, to appreciate how much has been done and what more needs to be done in the field of gender equality. To celebrate this occasion Women Cell of CT College of Education organized a webinar on ‘Women Empowerment’ on March 8, 2022. Resource person for the same was Ms. Anita Rani, Block Mentor Punjabi, Punjab Education Department, East- 1, Jalandhar. The webinar was live streamed and students engaged in the session. The event started with a warm welcome address. Further, Ms. Anita, Block Mentor Punjabi narrated how women empowerment has changed the world and by combining the enduring power of women in communities all over the world, and sustainability and strength, we are on a mission for women’s empowerment. She shared her life experiences on women empowerment. The session was concluded by a vote of thanks. Overall session was knowledgably and fruitful for students.
