Shining Star Amritsar 2026: CT Group Honours 500+ Meritorious Students from 40+ Schools for Academic Excellence

Shining Star Amritsar celebrated academic excellence by honouring more than 500 meritorious students from over 40 schools across the districts of Amritsar and Tarn Taran for their outstanding performance in the Senior Secondary examinations. The grand felicitation ceremony brought together educationists, school principals, dignitaries, parents, and students to recognise and encourage young achievers for their dedication and hard work.

The event was graced by distinguished personalities from the education and social sectors. Mr. Karamjit Singh Rintu, Chairman of the Improvement Trust, attended as the Chief Guest. Dr. Parambir Singh Matewal, Principal of Mai Bhago College, was present as the Guest of Honour. Other Guests of Honour included Er. Sanjeev Sharma, Principal of Government ITI, and Mr. Davinder Singh Bhatti, Principal of Government Polytechnic.

Several renowned personalities from the education fraternity also attended the event, including Ms. Kanchan Malhotra, Principal of Rayan International School; RJ Akshita from Big FM; S. Shagun Singh, Director of Mamta Niketan School; Er. Harsimranjit Singh, Director of Punjab Public School; along with many other eminent dignitaries.

More than 500 students from reputed institutions such as Rayan International School, Guru Harkishan Public School, Government Adarsh Senior Secondary School, Delhi Public School, GGSSS MS Gate, Mamta Niketan School, Punjab Public School, Sant Sar Public School, SB Senior Secondary School, Alexander School, Sant Baba Bhuri Wale School, Dashmesh Public School, Majha International School, and several other schools were felicitated during the ceremony. In total, students from more than 40 schools across Amritsar and Tarn Taran districts were recognised for their remarkable academic achievements.

On the occasion, S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor of CT University and Chairman of CT Group, congratulated the students and shared inspiring insights from his personal journey, motivating students to pursue excellence and remain committed to their goals.

Dr. Manbir Singh, Pro Chancellor of CT University and MD of CT Group, along with Mr. Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman of CT University & CT Group, applauded the dedication of students, teachers, and parents for achieving excellent academic results.

Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh also congratulated the achievers and shared, “The success of these students is a reflection of their dedication, determination, and the support of their teachers and families. At CT University, we believe in empowering young minds with opportunities that help them grow into future leaders and innovators.”

Dr. Nitin Tandon, Vice Chancellor of CT University, expressed gratitude towards educators for their invaluable contribution in nurturing future leaders and responsible citizens.

Dr. Anurag Sharma, Director of CT Group of Institutions (North Campus), congratulated the students and appreciated the consistent efforts of teachers and parents in guiding students toward academic excellence and personal growth.

Dr. Ashish Raina, Head of School (Hotel Management) at CT University, also extended his congratulations to the achievers and encouraged students to continue striving for excellence in every sphere of life.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Tarun Sharma, Deputy Director – International Affairs at CT University, and Mr. Vikas Rai, Deputy Director – Admissions, who thanked the chief guest, guests of honour, special invitees, participating schools, students, parents, media representatives, and the organising team for making the event a grand success.
