CT College of Education Promotes Ayurveda through Interactive Session

CT College of Education, Maqsudan, Jalandhar, in collaboration with the District Ayurvedic & Unani Office, Jalandhar, has been actively promoting the values of Ayurveda under the theme “Ayurveda for People and Planet.” As part of this initiative, the institution organized an Interactive Session to emphasize the holistic role of Ayurveda in health and environmental sustainability.

The activities were graced by Mrs. Navdeep Kaur, Addl. Deputy Commissioner (Div.), Jalandhar, as the Chief Guest. In her address, she appreciated the efforts of CT College of Education and the District Ayurvedic & Unani Office in highlighting Ayurveda’s relevance in contemporary health practices and sustainable living.

The program began with the auspicious Dhanvantari Poojan, invoking divine blessings for health and wellness. An Ayurvedic medicine exhibition was also put up, showcasing traditional formulations, medicinal plants, and herbal products. Eminent doctors shared their insights on Ayurveda’s preventive and curative dimensions, encouraging students and faculty to adopt healthy lifestyle practices.

The initiative witnessed the presence of key dignitaries Dr. Anurag Sharma, Director, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan Campus, Dr. Anju Sharma, Principal, CT College of Education, faculty members, and students.

Chairman, CT Group of Institutions, S. Charanjit S. Channi remarked, CT Group has always believed in blending traditional wisdom with modern education. Ayurveda is India’s priceless gift to the world, and such initiatives strengthen our responsibility towards health, environment, and society.

Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions, Dr. Manbir Singh shared, It is heartening to see students and faculty actively engaging with Ayurveda and sustainable practices. This celebration is not just about tradition, but about cultivating lifestyle choices that benefit both people and the planet.

Executive Director, CT Group of Institutions, Dr. Nitin Tandon highlighted, Ayurveda reminds us that health is not merely the absence of disease, but harmony with nature. By organizing such programs, CT Group continues to shape socially responsible and health-conscious citizens.

The event concluded with a heartfelt note of thanks by Dr. Anju Sharma, Principal, CT College of Education, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, doctors, faculty, and students for making the Ayurveda awareness program a memorable and impactful experience.
