Communication is a vital element to express one’s feelings/ideas etc. It is very important to have effective communication for the growth of personality and also progress in career. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential in order to deliver and understand information quickly and accurately. To acquaint the students about good communication skills CT College of Education, Maqsudan, Jalandhar organized Extension Lecture on “Communication Skills” on March 28, 2023 at college premises. The resource person for the same was Mr. Rohit Chatrath, Assistant Professor and ILETS trainer at CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar. He briefed on the different ways of verbal communication and strategies to maintain effective communication. With the help of students, he demonstrated common ways of communication. He also highlighted on the barriers to communication and the ways to overcome these barriers. Students’ queries were addressed and clarified by the resource persons.
