The Department of Computer Applications organized a hackathon titled “Devcreate Buildfest 1.0” on 3rd and 4th October 2025 at the CT Group of Institutions, North Campus, Maqsudan, Jalandhar. The event was aimed at fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students through hands-on technical challenges.

The hackathon brought together enthusiastic participants who worked collaboratively in teams to design, develop, and present innovative solutions within a limited time frame. Participants were encouraged to apply their programming knowledge, logical thinking, and creativity to address real-world problems. Mentors and evaluators guided the teams, provided feedback, and assessed projects based on originality, technical implementation, and practical relevance.

With the participation of over 500 students, Devcreate Buildfest 1.0 proved to be a vibrant and competitive platform. The event promoted teamwork, technical learning, and entrepreneurial thinking, while motivating students to enhance their coding skills and stay updated with emerging technologies.
