The Department of Management Studies successfully organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Mastering Research & Publishing with Business Analytics Tools” from December 22 to December 26, 2025. The program was designed to enhance the research capabilities of faculty members and scholars by introducing them to advanced analytical tools used in academic research and scholarly publishing.

The FDP witnessed active participation from faculty members and research scholars who were eager to strengthen their research methodology and analytical skills. The sessions focused on the practical application of business analytics tools for conducting high-quality research and preparing research papers for publication in reputed journals.

The program was conducted by distinguished resource persons Dr. Pawan Kumar and Dr. Harish Saini, who provided in-depth training on the use of SmartPLS for structural equation modeling and data analysis. Participants were introduced to important concepts such as model development, hypothesis testing, reliability and validity assessment, and interpretation of analytical results using SmartPLS.

Throughout the FDP, participants engaged in interactive sessions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on exercises that enabled them to understand how business analytics tools can be effectively used for empirical research. The program also covered key aspects of research design, data analysis, and strategies for publishing research articles in high-quality academic journals.

Faculty members actively participated in discussions and practical exercises, which helped them gain confidence in applying analytical tools to their research work. The FDP provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and capacity building in the area of research and academic publishing.

By the end of the program, participants developed a stronger understanding of research analytics and gained practical exposure to advanced tools that support evidence-based research and scholarly publication.
