The Department of Management Studies is pleased to announce the successful live streaming of the Union Budget 2026 on February 1, 2026, conducted in an online mode. This initiative was organized to provide students and faculty with real-time exposure to the Government of India’s financial policies, economic priorities, and fiscal strategies for the upcoming financial year.

The live session witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. Participants gained valuable insights into the key highlights of the budget, including government expenditure priorities, taxation policies, sectoral allocations, and economic development initiatives. The session also focused on understanding the broader implications of the budget for industries, businesses, and the overall economy.

During the session, students and faculty engaged in meaningful discussions on important aspects such as fiscal deficit management, infrastructure development, digital economy initiatives, employment generation, and support for emerging sectors. These discussions helped participants develop a deeper understanding of how national economic policies influence business environments and financial markets.

The event provided an excellent academic platform for students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world policy decisions. It also enhanced their analytical skills in interpreting macroeconomic policies and understanding their impact on economic growth and financial planning.

By the conclusion of the session, participants were better equipped to critically analyze budgetary announcements and understand their implications for various sectors of the economy. The initiative successfully strengthened awareness of economic governance and policy-making among students.

Dr. Anurag Sharma, Director, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, remarked, “Such initiatives are vital in developing economic awareness among students. Live engagement with national financial events like the Union Budget helps students build analytical thinking and equips them with knowledge essential for their future roles in business, management, and policy analysis.”
