NATIONAL TOURISM DAY

NATIONAL TOURISM DAY
26 Jan 2026

On the occasion of National Tourism Day, our institution celebrated the spirit of “Unity in Diversity” by showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India. The event was organized with the objective of creating awareness about the importance of tourism and highlighting India’s diverse traditions, customs, and art forms. The celebration featured vibrant cultural performances representing different Indian states. Students enthusiastically performed traditional dances from various regions, reflecting the unique culture, costumes, music, and heritage of each state. These performances beautifully portrayed India as a land of cultural harmony and diversity, where every state contributes its own identity to the national fabric. The programme created an atmosphere of joy, pride, and cultural appreciation among students and faculty members. Through dance and music, the event emphasized how tourism plays a vital role in preserving cultural traditions and promoting national integration. It also helped students understand the significance of cultural tourism in boosting the country’s economy and strengthening global recognition of India’s heritage. National Tourism Day celebrations served as a platform for students to express creativity while learning about the cultural richness of the nation. The event successfully conveyed the message that tourism is not only about travel but also about understanding, respecting, and celebrating diverse cultures. The programme concluded with a strong sense of patriotism and appreciation for India’s cultural diversity.
