An industrial visit to Radisson Blu Hotel, Amritsar was successfully organized on 21st April 2026 for the students of Tourism and Hospitality Management. A total of 41 students, accompanied by 2 faculty members, participated in this educational visit.

The main objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the functioning of a five-star hotel and to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and industry practices. During the visit, students were given a detailed overview of various hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage Service, and Kitchen operations.

The hotel staff warmly welcomed the group and conducted an informative session, explaining the operational procedures, service standards, and guest handling techniques followed in the hotel. Students also got an opportunity to interact with industry professionals, which helped them gain insights into career opportunities and skill requirements in the hospitality sector.

The visit proved to be highly beneficial as it enhanced students’ understanding of hospitality operations, customer service, and professional ethics. It also encouraged experiential learning and boosted their confidence to pursue careers in the hospitality and tourism industry.

The faculty members expressed their gratitude to the management and staff of Radisson Blu, Amritsar for their support and cooperation in making the visit a successful and enriching experience.
