 Jalandhar, February 17, 2023: Department of Media Studies, CT group of Institution North Campus organized a seminar on Journalism: Prospects, challenges & Responsibility by Mr. Parmvir Singh Baath from Prime Asia TV, Canada for the students of Journalism and Multimedia. Senior Journalist Mr. Paramvir Singh Bath talked about his journey of becoming a journalist and quoted his journey that “becoming a journalist is not as easy as wishing to be a genie in a bottle”. It entails unending hard work and interminable practice. However, before doing so, one has to learn from reliable sources and be guided by the experiences of credible individuals presenting their presentations on given topics. The purpose of this seminar was to help students develop their professional skills as good journalists. Students were overjoyed with the seminar and asked many questions related to journalism and job opportunities in this field. At the end of the event, our respected HOD Ms. Anisha Kundra gave the vote of thanks and Assistant Director Dr. Ramandeep Gautam honored the guest with a token of appreciation.
