Jalandhar: CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Ropar – Technology Business Incubator Foundation (TBIF) to strengthen innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture among students and young innovators.
The collaboration aims to establish a framework for academic and entrepreneurial cooperation, providing students and faculty with opportunities for incubation support, mentorship, research collaboration, skill enhancement, and exposure to emerging technologies and startup ecosystems.
Speaking on the occasion, the management of CT Group of Institutions expressed that the partnership reflects the institution’s commitment towards fostering creativity, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration. The initiative is expected to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators to transform their ideas into impactful ventures.
Dr. Anurag Sharma, Director Campus, and Dr. Anu Arora, Head, CT-TBI (Technology Business Incubator), were present during the MoU signing ceremony. Expressing his views on the collaboration, Dr. Anurag Sharma stated that such partnerships play a vital role in bridging the gap between academia and industry while creating a strong platform for students to innovate, explore entrepreneurial opportunities, and develop real-world solutions.
Representatives from both institutions highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in building a vibrant ecosystem that supports startups, innovation-driven learning, and regional development.
Extending their wishes on this significant collaboration, Sr. Charanjeet Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions, Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group, and Dr. Nitin Tandon, Vice Chancellor, CT University, congratulated both institutions for joining hands to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among students. They expressed confidence that the collaboration with IIT Ropar – TBIF will create valuable opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs, researchers, and innovators while strengthening industry-academia connect and startup culture within the region.
